I am a T9 complete paraplegic. Before I received my Lymphedema pump I had constant problems with swollen legs & feet. I had bleeding cracks between my toes that would not heal. In one month with my pump for 1hr. a day all these problems have gone away. And I can now see the bones in my feet & lower legs. Amazing!

The compression pump is much easier to use than I ever anticipated. I use the pump 3x/day for 1 hour each time, and I am so comfortable that I can actually fall asleep while using the machine and the hour passes quickly. My left leg is fused at the knee – that means it will never, ever bend again. In other words, I have a completely straight leg. However, someone (obviously) studied the various patients and their limitations prior to designing the leg sleeves. Thank you a thougsand times over now that I am a recent widow. I can use these sleeves and maintain my independence. In other words, I can put the sleeves on ALL BY MYSELF. May God continue to inspire the designer!

I have lymphedema in my right arm. When I use this pump it reduces my arm back to almost normal size. I tried other means that did no help much. This pump is a lifesaver for me and I don’t know what I would do without it. it is very easy to use and does a good job. I use it usually twice a day an hour each time. I have auto-immune hepatitis. As a result, my fluid retention has been horrendous for almost 4 years. Diuretics had little to no effect. My feet and lower legs were truly terrible. I accidently cut my lower leg and because of the constant swelling, it was not healing. Long story short, the pump system has allowed it to heal and me to walk around like a normal person. The pneumatic pump has helped my leg a great deal since I started using it.  The swelling in my leg has gone down quite a bit, and the ugly sores, which often wept, are gone.  My leg feels better and looks better.  As a result I feel better all over!

For the first time in over a year, I feel like a doctor finally is on the right road.  I have been to three different doctors.  A dermatologist told me I have a fungus throughout my body.  He had me soaking my open wound in a bucket twice a day.  He finally convinced himself that I must be getting better.  I wasn’t.  When I started working with a new doctor he said he believed he could help me heal.  By then I had so much swelling in both legs I could barely walk.  My wound was very painful and getting large.  From my first visit, I had hope.  I use the pump 3 times a day.  It is the only thing that has helped my swelling.  The wound is getting smaller, but I can’t wait to be pain free after over a year of draining and swelling daily.  Thank God there is something that helps me.

Using my lymphedema pump is easy for me.  The swelling in my legs is reduced.  The color is normal.  The purple is gone and the pink discoloration is gone in one leg and almost in the other leg.  The right leg isn’t icy cold as it formerly was.  It feels as if I have 10 to 12 pounds less in my legs.  It’s easier to walk and I do so at a faster rate.  Best of all, I have this therapy right at home when I have no car for transportation.  It sure is convenient.

Before I started using the pump, my legs would retain a lot of fluid.  They would swell up, blisters and fluid would run from them, sometimes had enough to soak through bandages and even my pant legs.  This was happening even though I was on strict diuretic therapy, putting my legs up three times a day, and sleeping with my legs elevated.  These pumps have worked so well; no swelling or blisters since I started using them.  The blisters were so bad that they would turn into sores.  I was afraid I would end up losing a leg because of it.

I am a registered nurse and am writing this on behalf of my father.  My dad has been using the vascular pump daily with great success. He had severe wounds on both feet for which he underwent hyperbaric treatments and angioplasty.  His physician was not optimistic that we could save the leg.  The circulation from the angioplasty was predicted to last for only a brief time before circulation would deteriorate.  That was in May 2008 and my dad continues to have much improved circulation, no new wounds have developed. His doctor continues to recommend the use of the vascular pump.

I received this arterial pump November, 2008.  I am diabetic and my right big toe had ingrown nail – it turned black, brown and green.  Doctor said it would need to come off. This machine has healed me and will not need to be cut off. I questioned whether it was really helping until there come a point where I was unable to use the machine and found that I was not able to walk the treadmill for very long. Gerald Kozuch is confined to a wheelchair due to a stroke. He cannot walk and this product is perfect for him. It is comfortable and easy to use. I have severe Raynaud’s disease, worsened by Peripheral Artery disease and neuropathy.  I have had several spells of cellulitis in my legs and severe ulcers on the fingers of both hands.  I have used the Arterial Pump on my legs and have avoided any reoccurrences of cellulitis.  I have not had as much luck with my hands’ ulcers.  Now that my hands are healed, hopefully I will avoid any new ulcers, just like my legs.  Using the arterial pump has not only reduced the swelling, but also significantly reduced the pain it causes.  I feel the arterial pump has contributed to the improvement in both my legs and will also help my Raynaud’s disease. Thankyou,

I have had three surgeries on my left leg, including a bypass, and one on my right leg.  The last surgery on the left leg was on October 14, 2009 , after which, I was still having severe pain and stiffness in the leg.  My doctor (Timothy Milner ? difficult to read)  told me during my last visit that he could not find a pulse in the leg.  I started using the arterial pump on November 20, 2009 .  The change has been tremendous.  I have little to no pain and no stiffness.  I can walk without limping and feeling tired in the leg.  This pump has been a great blessing.

I have been using the pump for approximately three weeks.  The swelling in the ankles and feet has gone down almost to normal.  Dr. Albrecht and I agree that I should continue using the pump, as we are trying to avoid two bypass operations, which at my age (89), are especially serious.  Each operation includes a week in the hospital plus rehab and post operative care.  All this adds up to a cost that is far in excess to the cost of the pump.  It seems to me that my insurance carriers should take this into consideration.
