Medical Solutions Supplier is proud to once again participate in the MuckFest for MS, which will be held on the grounds of the the Glen Mills Schools on June 3 and 4, 2017.
The MuckFest MS event series has surpassed $20 million raised by participants and volunteers to support the work of the National MS Society. MuckFest MS is a fun mud and obstacle 5K event series that takes place in 11 cities throughout the country. For Team Mudical Solutions, this will be the 5th consecutive year to enter a team of runners who willingly slog through mud and overcome outrageous obstacles that spin, swing, and fling them up, down, and sideways. There’s no special training required, so the event attracts people of all ages and widely varying skills and abilities from all walks of life.
“Only MuckFest MS participants can officially say they ran a 5K through a giant Spider Web, did a Belly Crawl, survived The Spinner and a Swing Set, plus made a Crash Landing all to help raise $20 million to end MS,” said Betty Ross, Vice President, Walk MS and Emerging Events at the National MS Society. “Our MuckFest MS events remind everyone that people living with MS can overcome any obstacle. More importantly, MuckFest MS reminds us that it’s okay to stop and laugh while helping individuals with MS meet the challenges of this disease.”
“MuckFest MS has given mud obstacle 5K run events a whole new meaning. Our mud 5K events are not only about the muddy laughs. We’re proud that MuckFest MS also engages participants to join us in our goal to end MS,” said Patrick Riley, Vice President of Event 360, the event’s producer. “Our MuckFest MS participants and volunteers deserve all the credit for reaching this major milestone that will help drive research for a cure.”
