Glen Mills, PA -- Serving our nation's Veterans is a primary focus of Medical Solutions Supplier's government sector sales force. In alignment with their focus, the Company's employees are participating in a special "Valentines for Veterans" campaign as part of the National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, February 8 - 14, 2015.
This annual event involves volunteering at VA medical centers, sending valentines and letters of thanks to those who have protected our nation. Last year, over 400,000 Valentines were received at VA medical centers. "One of our employees suggested that as a Company we should send valentines to all of the VA Hospitals that we are privileged to serve," remarked Joseph Carberry, Executive Team Leader. "This idea grew into an initiative that involved our employees working with their children to make homemade cards in honor of our Veterans."
The purpose of the National Salute to Veteran Patients Program is to:
Pay tribute and express appreciation to Veterans;
Increase community awareness of the role of the VA medical center;
Encourage citizens to visit hospitalized Veterans and to become involved as volunteers.
"We are honored to serve our Veterans year-round, but especially appreciate the opportunity to involve our families and express our heartfelt appreciation for their service to our country," added Steve Kantor, Founder and President.
