From lipedema and the COVID vaccine to using heating pads vs. ice, this month’s Lipedema Patient Roundtable was filled with great advice and personal testimonies to educate and encourage.

Dr. Karen Herbst’s insights about dealing with insurance companies as well as her own contact information for a telehealth visit was a highlight, as were the insights by Dr. Melissa Gallagher of Natural Health Resources.

Green was the theme (for St. Patty’s Day) and Pattie Cornute @lipedemafitness brought bright green, weighted drumsticks, and a soft, weighted medicine ball to illustrate fun ways to exercise. Dating and body positivity were hot topics that @PaleGingerPear, @TheLippyButterfly, and @Lipedema.Living discussed.
